Emma coordinates the operations of all Israel-related grantmaking. 

Before joining Schusterman, Emma worked as Program Manager for the Israel Experience, where she organized groups of people to go on trips to Israel. She served as coordinator for the Nativ course and spent a year working with the Jewish community in Auckland, New Zealand, as a Jewish Agency shlicha. Emma volunteered for three years with Adopt-a-Savta, visiting an elderly Holocaust survivor weekly, and with Mother-to-Mother, helping moms adjust to the reality of life with kids.

She completed a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Education, Sociology and Anthropology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
