Nimish Sheth is the Director of Data Governance and Architecture at Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. He helps the organization shape and improve its data assets for providing access to information and ongoing learning to guide the work.

Nimish has over 25 years of experience in building data solutions in the private and government sectors. Prior to joining Schusterman, Nimish led the development of strategy and data architecture for mitigating payments risk and financial crime at a fintech startup. Before that, he consulted with leading global financial firms, designed and implemented data warehousing solutions for the U.S. Dept. of Defense, and used data mining and patten matching to build sophisticated financial crime detection software at Mantas. Throughout his career, Nimish has centered his philosophy on simplifying and demystifying the complex to navigate and make sense of data.

Nimish received a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College, Bombay, India. When recharging, he and his wife are usually rambling outdoors, hiking, camping, backpacking, or on long road trips to hidden corners of America.
