We turn passion into action.
ROI Community is a global network of purpose-driven Jewish and Israeli leaders who are transforming Jewish life and fostering positive social change.
We mobilize our members to fulfill their potential as agents of change by providing them with the tools, network and inspiration to create a positive impact on Israel, the Jewish people and the world.
Community members (ROIers) are active in fields as diverse as media, education, arts and culture, politics, international development and high-tech, and represent both professional and volunteer activism.

Our Signature Gathering
Our gateway experience into ROI Community is the ROI Summit, a five-day gathering that brings together global Jewish leaders aged 25-40 with track records of impact to share knowledge, collaborate, be inspired and bolster their toolboxes for change.
The Summit is the gateway to ROI Community: at the conclusion of the gathering, participants become members of the year-round ROI Community network. Application to the Summit is by recommendation.
Our Tools for Impact
We connect a community of Jewish activists and create an infrastructure for them to collaborate, strengthen their professional toolboxes and effect meaningful change. We engage our members through four primary channels.
Community Building
We strengthen the ties between our members, champion reciprocity, encourage self-animation, and increase member-to-member value creation through in-person and online programs and events, the monthly ROI Newsletter, our active Community Facebook group, and strategic network weaving.
Targeted Impact
We establish programs that use the ROI Community's unique knowledge, tools, and network to promote social change and support the work of Schusterman Family Philanthropies in Israel, the U.S. Jewish community, and global Jewish life.
Micro Funding
We offer small grants that support the impact of ROI Community members in their social change, Israel and Jewish engagement work.
Storytelling
We employ digital storytelling and innovative communications strategies to help amplify members’ voices and social change efforts.
Our Evolution
The first ROI conference in 2006 gathered 120 Jewish leaders from around the world for a week in Israel. What began as a one-time gathering evolved into our signature Summit and has since blossomed into a community of activists working together to create positive change.
Today, ROI engages and supports a growing network of impact-generating Jewish leaders, empowering them to connect, create and innovate for the benefit of the Jewish people and the broader world.
