Carolina is an Associate on the Impact and Operations team and is responsible for supporting the Director, Impact and Operations in ensuring the Program and Administrative Operations of the organization are running effectively and efficiently by managing contract and payment processes and supporting program teams in providing the best experience for their participants. She works with a variety of teams to improve practices and processes for the organization.

Prior to joining Schusterman, Carolina co-founded an online platform which allowed students and young professionals to rent items ranging from microwaves to TVs for as long as they needed, aiming to stop the destruction to the climate caused by society's current overconsumption and propensity for unnecessary waste.

She has a passion for sustainability which feeds her interests in all things circular economy, thrifting and efficient systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Columbia University in the city of New York.
