Jahaziel is a Program Officer at Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, where she supports Tulsa grantmaking to benefit youth and families in Tulsa who live with the effects of inequality. In this position, Jahaziel is responsible for overseeing and managing the portfolio of grants focused on youth development, expanded learning opportunities, STEM, K-12 education, access to post-secondary education and scholarship programs.
Passionate about community transformation, Jahaziel has worked in workforce development, early childhood education and increasing expanded learning opportunities across Oklahoma. Jahaziel has served as a board member for Tulsa Global Alliance, Tulsa Honor Academy, TYPROS Foundation and the Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice. She is a founding member of the League of United Latin American Citizens Tulsa Chapter and co-founder of Latin Dance 918.
Originally from Mexico, Jahaziel has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, a master's degree in International Business and soon, a Doctorate of Education in Leadership.
