Michael DuPont is the Director for Tulsa Grantmaking where he oversees Schusterman’s local grantmaking, which strives to benefit youth and families in Tulsa who live with the effects of inequality. In this position, Michael supports the team’s efforts to expand positive experiences for youth, advance upward mobility through workforce development and post-secondary initiatives and ensure families have access to resources to meet their basic needs, especially in the areas of housing stability, food security, and social services, and with a particular emphasis on immigrant families, families living in north Tulsa, and people identifying as LGBTQ+.
Michael has served as co-chair of Tulsa Funders' Roundtable and as a board member with several local nonprofit organizations—including the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, the Tulsa Area United Way, the Tulsa Higher Education Consortium, Teach For America Greater Tulsa, Collegiate Hall Charter School, and Global Gardens.
Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Letters from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA from the University of Tulsa, and has earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
