Shana Medy is an Executive Assistant at Schusterman Family Philanthropies, where she supports the Gender and Reproductive Equity Grantmaking team, the Policy and Advocacy team and a subset of the US Jewish Team Grantmaking team. Prior to joining Schusterman, Shana spent more than 21 years at a well-known U.S. Chain franchise in the food and beverage industry holding several titles, her last being Assistant General Manager. Shana relocated to another state to pursue her genuine interest in operations, with the main goal of supporting and assuring the smooth functioning of an organization.

Shana has a BA in Human Resources Administration and loves to be an intricate part of an operation’s function.

In her moments of relaxation, Shana enjoys creating memories with her family and friends, as well as event planning and interior design.
