Yael manages grants and special projects for the multidisciplinary grantmaking team, which supports organizations that promote social impact in a range of areas, aligned with Schusterman's work and values.
Before joining Schusterman, Yael served as National Director of IAC Act-IL, a project aimed at making Israeli activism innovative and accessible to communities in North America. At Act-IL, she established the Media Rooms project, formed its strategy and work plan, and led its implementation in seven states. Yael taught and developed seminars and courses on social activism, digital mobilization and community building for a range of audiences, from high school to adults.
Yael has a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Diplomacy and Strategy from the Raphael Recanati International School at Reichman University.
