Alyssa Davis is a Director of Communications at Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. She focuses on developing and implementing strategic content initiatives, creating digital engagement campaigns and planning and executing internal communications efforts.

Prior to joining the organization, Alyssa was the Deputy Managing Editor for Gallup News. She created and implemented Gallup's editorial strategy and specialized in translating complex survey research and public opinion data into compelling content for an audience of global leaders. She wrote and edited hundreds of articles and blog posts about political, social, health, education and economic issues.

Originally from New Jersey, Alyssa earned a master's degree in Public Policy and a bachelor's degree in Government with a minor in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. When Alyssa is not working, she enjoys cheering on the New York Mets, volunteering and traveling around the country with the goal of visiting a winery in all 50 states.
