Krithika Harish is the Senior Program Officer of Women’s Political Power and Leadership for the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. She leads work to strengthen the ecosystem of women-led and centered civic engagement work, and supports the development of a pipeline of women in political leadership who prioritize racial, gender, and reproductive equity.
Prior to joining Schusterman, Krithika was a Senior Associate at Civitas Public Affairs where she worked to advance a wide range of progressive policies through legislative and advocacy campaigns at the state and federal levels. In 2018, she co-founded the Pipeline Fund, a project dedicated to building a more reflective democracy at the state and local levels by supporting groups that recruit and train diverse candidates, staff, and elected officials. Krithika now proudly serves on the Pipeline Fund’s Advisory Board. Prior to joining Civitas, Krithika served as the Associate Director for Global Programs for URI, an international peace-building non-profit, where she provided targeted capacity-building, training, and support for URI’s global network of grassroots activists.
Krithika holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. Born in India and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Krithika is a proud immigrant American.
