Sarah is a Communications Officer at Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. She is responsible for proposing, developing and overseeing communications work within the U.S. Jewish portfolio. Her remit spans message development, executive and stakeholder communications, and media initiatives.

Prior to joining Schusterman, Sarah consulted on social impact, strategic storytelling, and cross-cultural negotiations for international organizations. Most recently, she served as the global social impact and culture director for Tyra Banks at her new ice cream company. She was also previously the Ralph I. Goldman Fellow for the Joint Distribution Committee, where she led the strategy for the first Jewish cultural center of the United Arab Emirates, among other initiatives.

Sarah holds Bachelor of Arts Honors in both cultural anthropology and global studies from University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Science in international relations from the London School of Economics, where she conducted research on the nexus between tourism and diplomacy. After traveling to 77 countries and all seven continents, Sarah started and continues to lead an initiative promoting responsible travel as a tool for personal growth and community development.
